EVERY VISIT
IS A RACE.
Track's closed today.
74° and sunny. Grip is honest. No excuses on lap times today.
We're dark today. The karts are getting prepped and the track's getting swept. Doors back open Tue 12 PM.
Here's What
Actually Happens When You Get Here.
You pull in. Car door swings open. Fuel in the air. You hear the karts before you see them.
Shelbyville, TN · One mile off Highway 231
How It Works
Check in, gear up, the safety brief, then your first green flag. Start to finish.
Know Before You Show
What to bring, what we hand you at the counter, and the age and size rules.
Groups & Events
Bring the whole crew and take over the track.
Tour the Track
A half-mile of outdoor asphalt, 11 turns, 19 race classes to grow into.
WHAT'S RUNNING.
Today, the week ahead, and the big races on deck. Straight off the track calendar, always current.
Book ahead or just show up
The championship race day: 19 classes from kid karts to shifters. Owners race their karts, and one class runs in our rental karts, so you can race the championship without owning a thing.
Wednesday-night league racing in our rental karts: heats, points every round, a champion at the end of the season.
The track flips to a NASCAR-style oval for 200 laps in our rental karts. Two weight classes, separate podiums.
Wednesday-night league racing in our rental karts: heats, points every round, a champion at the end of the season.
The Long
Walk In.
Every racer at MCK started on a rental. Most come in for one Saturday and leave realizing this is a thing they want more of. The rental side is its own whole world, and you never have to buy a thing to go as deep as you want.

RACE.
Thirty bucks. Helmet and neck brace on us, closed-toe shoes on you. First lap teaches you it's harder than it looks. Next lap, you're hooked.

LEAGUE.
Four weeks, same rental kart, real championship points. The whole track is yours: no owners, just rental racers running for the title. The lowest-pressure way to feel real competition.

RACE DAY.
Ready to share the track? The Rental class runs on the Rhythm & Race championship days. Same rental kart, but now you're in the mix, full paddock, podium ceremonies, the whole experience.

KART. RENTED.
Skip the five-grand commitment. Rent an LO206 or Tillotson, actual race karts, and line up in the same classes as owner-drivers. The series, the points, the trophy, all on a real kart you don't have to buy.
Iron Man eliminations, the 200-Lap Oval, and four-hour team enduros. One-off events that sit alongside the ladder, not in it.
YOU NEVER HAVE TO OWN A KART
TO GO ALL THE WAY.
The rentals are just as real as the championship. Show up, race, and keep going as far as it takes you.
TENNESSEE'S
ONLY COMPETITIVE
OUTDOOR TRACK.
A 34-acre motorsports complex in Shelbyville. A half-mile of purpose-built asphalt with multiple configurations. Italian-made CRG rental karts hitting 50+ MPH. A mechanic shop. Secure storage. Year-round racing thanks to Tennessee's mild climate. And on the master plan: a second, bigger circuit across the property.
Whether you're chasing your first lap or your tenth championship, this is where it happens.
The Side
Doors.
Three things that don't fit the rental-to-racer track but are very much part of MCK. Different audiences, different doors in.
DRIVERACADEMY
Championship-winning coaches run multi-day development camps here: on-track instruction, video and data, racecraft, and the pathway from karts to cars. See what's on the calendar and get on the list.
JUNIORS
Kid karts, mini, junior leagues. Real coaching, real class progression. A first lap at eight. A championship at fifteen.

SIMRACING
Assetto Corsa rigs running indoors, year-round. The same physics engine pro drivers train on. Sprint and endurance sessions. Member discount. Weather-proof.
YOUR WHOLE CREW.
Six friends and one race, or a hundred-person corporate takeover. It's the same builder either way. The only real question is how many of you, and whether you want the private room.
THE FAST
LIST.
This week, this month, and the all-time book. Every lap on track, scored to the thousandth. Find your name.

What Drivers Say.
“A quick thank you to you and your staff for hosting our annual team building event. The venue was perfect!! Your staff made planning for the event easy, and you took care of everything. The race kart venue fit perfectly into our plan/agenda for the day and all my staff was excited about racing. Many months later they are still talking about it. I look forward to visiting again in the future.”
“My team and I really enjoyed the racing at Music City Kartplex. The track will test your racing skills and the karts are fast. The meeting space was great, the lunch setup was great. Best of all is the staff. Jeffrey and Lucas are awesome to work with, they made sure everything was taken care of. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend it for a team building event or just for taking the kids out for some great racing.”
“We had a fantastic experience hosting our team event at Music City Karting. From the moment we arrived, your staff made everything easy, organized, and genuinely fun. What stood out most was the team's reaction. We had a mix of personalities and comfort levels with racing, but everyone got competitive quickly and fully engaged. It broke down barriers, sparked a lot of laughter, and created the kind of shared experience that's hard to replicate in a typical team setting. People were still talking about their lap times and race strategy days later. The overall impact was exactly what we hoped for; stronger connections, high energy, and a memorable event that felt different from the usual corporate outing. I'd confidently recommend Music City Karting to any company looking for a fun, well-run, and genuinely impactful team event.”
